Remington Quick Cut HC4250 hair clipper guard #4

#4 (13mm - 1/2") guard for the Remington Quick Cut HC4250 hair Clipper.

The design conforms to the curved blade as the original ones so the cut length stays the same along the whole cutting line. It's also been tried and tested to ensure it fits snugly in its place.

Some printed examples can be seen in the attached pics. Those were printed with a 0.6 nozzle at 0.2 layer height, so some postprocessing was needed. It can be printed with higher resolution for a smoother result, But some sanding will be inevitable if you're printing it with FDM.

This item is intended to be printed in the provided orientation for better strength. Note that It requires extensive use of supports, so make sure your slicer support configurations are well tuned for an easy(ish) removal. Alternatively it could be printed on its tips and tilted with some raft support. That way the post processing would be simplified in detriment of the printed part strength.

PLA works, but printing with PETG or ABS will improve the part's resistance.

The guards shown in the photo are printed with a 0.6 nozzle at 0.2 layer height. Smaller nozzles and layers will result in a more fine finish and therefore less sanding.

Supports on build plate only with the part orientation as provided in the files. Ensure your slicer supports configuration is well tuned and tested for easy removal.
