Pirate treasure chest - print in place

This tiny, treasure-oriented storage unit is designed for on-the-spot printing that requires no supports and prints with the lid open. The inside of both the base and the lid are angled down into a V shape to allow them to be printed unsupported and upside down, which in turn allows the top of the lid to have a nice curved shape (since it's the bottom of the lid that sits on the printer bed).

A good first layer is essential for successful printing. Make sure your printer is calibrated and that you have good adhesion to the bed.

For printing with PLA I used the following parameters:

-Nozzle temperature: 200C°.

-Bed temperature: 55C°.

-Layer height: 0.28

-Filling 10%

-No supports

The models shown in the photos were printed using a Creality Ender 3 V2 3D printer and sliced using PrusaSlicer.
