3D model description

Presenting a must-have kitchen accessory: Say goodbye to cluttered cloths!

With this ingenious kitchen accessory, you can finally bid farewell to those unsightly cloths cluttering up your kitchen counters. Instead, envision them elegantly organized within a minimalist device that seamlessly blends with your kitchen decor.

This revolutionary solution consists of two essential components: a sturdy main body and a flexible insert. To ensure optimal performance, we recommend printing the main body using durable materials such as PLA, PETG, or ABS. For the insert, a flexible material like TPU (95a) yields excellent results.

The dimensions of this device are compact yet spacious:

  • 1 insert version: 75x75x20mm
  • 2 inserts version: 15x75x20mm
  • 3 inserts version: 210x75x20mm

The insert features a conveniently sized diameter of 50mm, perfectly accommodating your cloths or rags.

The inserts fit snugly into the body and can be affixed using your preferred adhesive (personally, I found CA glue or superglue to be highly effective). Allow sufficient time for the adhesive to cure, ensuring a secure bond. Then, employ a robust double-sided tape for mounting the device onto your preferred surface. Tesa and 3M offer exceptional double-sided tapes with an impressive adhesion power, guaranteeing a reliable attachment.

I am actively developing additional versions of this product to cater to diverse preferences. These forthcoming iterations include a a bolted version for one, two, or three inserts. Moreover, keep an eye out for future releases, which may feature even more inserts (four inserts, and beyond).

I warmly welcome your valuable feedback and comments, as they contribute to the ongoing refinement and enhancement of this remarkable kitchen accessory.

3D printing settings

-No need of supports.
-Infill is not very critical either so 15 to 20% should be sufficient for both parts.
-Walls are not relevant for the body, just use 2 or more at least. For the flex insert, I would recommend not adding a lot of walls and having a low infill (like the 15% mentioned before) to keep the part flexible enough.
