With XYZPRINTING, enter the 3D design and printing competition around New Year's resolutions.
To participate in this original contest, all you have to do is create a 3D model that will help the achievement of your New Year's resolutions! You haven't lost any weight yet? Did you want to be more organized? Did you want to save more money and spend less? Did you make a promise to quit smoking? Have you sworn to meet the great love or to travel more? Use 3D printing to succeed in keeping your 2019 New Year's Resolutions!
Models can include, for example, objects related to fitness, tools to strengthen your willingness, objects to organize your daily life, reminders of your goals, gadgets to stimulate your motivation and anything that will help you to achieve your goals in 2019 !
Whether you are an artist, engineer or handyman, you can all participate in this free contest and demonstrate how 3D printer is a great innovation that is useful for improving everyday life!
The contest will run from March 1, 2019 to April 30, 2019.
What are the lots?
To reward the best achievements, the following prizes will be offered:
- 1st prize: a Full Color 3D Printer, da Vinci Color mini with a value of 1,599$ US. More information.
- 2nd prize: a da Vinci 3D Pen, worth 49,95$ US. More information.
- 3rd prize: a voucher of 50$ US which allows you to buy 3D files on Cults. Choose from website.
How to participate?
Publish one or more 3D models in connection with the theme of the competition about the 2019 resolutions. The model can be divided into several parts (but not too many, so that it can be easily printed in 3D). The object must be useful and ingenious.
Mention in the description of your design the hashtag : #XYZCHALLENGE
Submit your 3D model on Cults for free with the Creative Common CC-BY License (the models will also be published on XYZPrinting, in the 3D Gallery here).
Share your creation around you in order to get as much "Likes" as possible on your page (only the real "I like" will be counted).
How will the winners be selected?
Participants will be judged on the creativity of their 3D file, on the originality of their photographic staging and on the number of Likes they will receive on their Cults page.
- Originality of the 3D model: 10 points
- Usefulness of the creation: 10 points
- Photo staging: 5 points
- Number of Likes: 5 points
A jury will select the 3 winners. The jury is composed of KaiHeng Lin Senior 3D Modeler at XYZprinting and Alphonse Marcel one of the best designer of Cults community.
