With Blue Orange Games, take part in the 3D modeling and 3D printing Loopy Looper modifying contest.
The brief is simple: create a printable 3D model that is a 3D printable modification of the Loopy Looper.

So first of all, what is the Loopy Looper? The Loopy Looper is the next evolution of fidget toy! Whether you’re looking for a zen spinning experience to keep you focused as you work or a fun way to free your mind and challenge yourself, there’s a Loopy Looper out there that’s perfect for you. Flow, Edge, Jump or Hoop - get your hand on a Loopy Looper and put your spin on it!

The 3D model you can modify for the contest is available here.
The contest is therefore based on the modification of the Hooper. Anything is possible! You can change the shape, the appearance, the size. Make a gigantic or very small Hooper, transform it into an Eiffel Tower or a Ferris wheel. It is also possible to imagine all kinds of things to spin: fruits, tennis balls, small balls, seeds... These are just examples, we are sure you will find even better ideas and surprise us!
Whether you're an artist, engineer or maker, you can all enter this contest and show how 3D printers can modify an existing toy!
The competition will run from 15th February 2021 to 15th April 2021.
What are the prizes?
In order to reward the best achievements, the following prizes will be offered by Blue Orange Games:
- 1st prize: Anycubic Photon Mono X 3D printer worth $700
- 2nd prize: Artillery Side Winder X1 SW-X1 3D printer worth $420
- 3rd prize: Creality Ender 3 V2 3D printer worth $280

How to participate?
Publish one or more 3D models related to the Hooper modification contest theme of the contest. You must also upload a photo of the 3D printed model PLUS a video of the 3D printed Hooper working. The model can be divided into several parts. The object must be beautiful and original.
Mention in the description of your creation the hashtag: #HOOPERMODCHALLENGE
Submit your 3D model for free on Cults with the Creative Common CC-BY License. Blue Orange Games reserves the right to use the photos of the model, the 3D model and to 3D print it.
Share your creation with everyone in order to get the maximum of Likes on your page (only the real Likes will be taken into account).
How will the winners be selected?
Participants will be judged on the creativity of their 3D file, on the quality of the 3D printing, on the originality of their photographic staging and on the number of likes they receive on their Cults page.
- Creativity and beauty of the 3D model: 10 points
- Adaptability to the Original Loopy Looper : 10 points
- Photographic and video staging : 5 points
- Popularity / number of likes : 5 points
