With Machines-3D, participate in the design and 3D printing contest about kitchen & cooking.
The brief is simple: create a 3D printable model that is useful in a kitchen. A great contest realized in partnership with Machines-3D for the release of their new 3D printer the START.
These may therefore include, for example, kitchen utensils, cutlery, dishes, decorative objects, spare parts for certain household appliances, kitchen furniture, etc. Look around your kitchen and ask yourself how you can improve your use of this space thanks to 3D printing! For creations requiring a food contact, you can also give your recommendations in terms of materials to use during the printing process to avoid any risk!
Whether you are an artist, engineer or handyman, you can all participate in this contest and show how the 3D printer is a great innovation to improve everyday life and consume more responsibly!
The contest will run from August 1st, 2018 to September 30th, 2018.
What are the prizes?
To reward the best achievements, the following prizes will be offered:
- 1ST PRIZE: a START 3D printer worth 499,00€ XT. More information.
- 2ND PRIZE: a Pack of 3D Pen, worth 99,00€ HT. More information.
- 3RD PRIZE: a batch of 3 PLA Machines-3D spools filaments, worth 14,90€ XT per unit. More information.

How to participate?
Publish one or more 3D models** related to the contest theme on kitchen and 3D printing. The model can be divided into several parts (but not too many, so that it can be easily printed in 3D). The object must be useful and ingenious.
Mention in the description of your design hashtag :#STARTCULTS
Submit your 3D model on Cults for free with the Creative Common CC-BY License.
Share your creation around you to get as much "Likes" as possible on your page (only the real Likes will be counted).
How will the winners be selected?
Participants will be judged on the creativity of their 3D file, on the originality of their photographic staging and on the number of Likes they will receive on their Cults page.
- Originality of the 3D model: 10 points
- Usefulness of the creation: 10 points
- Photo staging: 5 points
- Number of Likes: 5 points
A jury will select the 3 winners. The jury will be composed of Yena Choi, Commercial Assistant at Machines-3D, Mickaël Perchat a super cool designer from the Cults community then Martin Lansard & Pierre-Antoine Arrighi, founders of emerging technologies comparator Aniwaa.
